Neem Oil is a natural pesticide that is commonly used as a leaf spray and soil drench to treat and prevent pests!

Our pure neem comes straight from sustainable, organic farmers. They use a cold-press process that maintains all proteins, vitamins, trace elements, and magic that neem has to offer.

Our exclusive Neem oil Starter kit has everything you need to make your plants super happy!

Wipe down dusty leaves with neem to give them an instant nerd to hottie level makeover. It’s like your plant's personal Cher Horowitz in a bottle.

AVOID THE SUN:

Like the baby oil of our youth, Neem oil can cause leaves to become photosensitive. We recommend applying it in the evening or moving the plant out of direct sunlight.

(As cute as we were baked to a golden crisp, our plants are not going to love that look.)

Frequently Asked Questions

Neem oil is a natural and versatile pest control and leaf shine product that is safe to use on most houseplants (always spot test before jumping in with both feet!)

It comes from cold-pressed oil from the seeds of a Neem tree. The oil is extracted and the active ingredient Azadirachtin takes center stage.

Cold pressing ensures and the oil maintains all of the vitamins, minerals, and trace elements to help your plant!

Neem Oil is a natural pesticide that is used as a leaf shine to clean dusty, and water stained leaves, as well as a way to treat and prevent pests.

Neem is amazing as a leaf shine product. Think nerd to hottie makeover movie via 1998.

It can also have a repellant effect, so not only is it making your leaves look brand new, it's keeping away creeps like Andrew Keegan's character in 20 Things I Hate About You.

Neem (specifically Azadirachtin) is most effective by reducing a specific hormone. When this happens larva can't develop into grown up adult insects.

It can also effect adult pests. Direct contact with Neem can suffocate soft bodied insects and disrupt mating communication.

Which means (as we all know) poor communication = less baby making!
YOU GUYS! Mealy Bugs are just like us!!

Because we are trying to target pests in their awkward pubescent stage, Neem treatments are most effective when repeated of a period of time.

We can catch some of the adults before they find a marriage counselor, and tweens before they have a glow up, but because there are different life cycles happening at all times, repeat attacks are crucial.

As often as your leaves need a pick me up! I try and wipe mine down for just a general maintenance every 4-5 months.

When I'm doing a quick wipe down (not a heavier treatment for pests) I get a medium soak on my microfiber towels with the Neem concoction and wipe down both sides of the leaves at the same time.

Neem (like the baby oil of our youthful tanning days) makes a plant photosensitive and increases it's potential for sun damage.

To avoid this apply Neem with the plant wont be receiving direct light for 6+ hours.

I mean, too much of anything can kill anything right?

In all seriousness, diluted as recommended, no. But it can burn the leaves if they are exposed to sun too soon after treatment.

Yes, if you are doing a combo of Neem and beneficial insects, do your course(s) of Neem first, then release the good soldiers.

Our Neem is actually supplied to some cosmetic companies. There are lots of studies done of the benefits of Neem for human use, and there are lots done of adverse reactions to it.

If you are worried, definitely use gloves or protective gear. It is a pesticide, albeit a natural one.
