Using this ratio:

1 1/2 teaspoons Neem Oil Pre-Emulsified Concentrate
16 oz of water

Shake the Neem Concentrate well, then measure and pour into the spray bottle with water.

Shake vigorously until mixed. You are ready to go!

Pour diluted solution onto the soil surface, saturating the medium.

Re-apply as needed every 7-10 days.

Spray diluted solution onto plant, thoroughly coating all plant surfaces. Don’t forget the undersides of the
leaves! Re-apply as needed.

Neem (specifically Azadirachtin) is most effective by reducing a specific hormone. When this happens larva can't develop into grown up adult insects.

It can also effect adult pests. Direct contact with Neem can suffocate soft bodied insects and disrupt mating communication.

Which means (as we all know) poor communication = less baby making!

Because we are trying to target pests in their awkward pubescent stage, Neem treatments are most effective when repeated of a period of time.

We can catch some of the adults before they find a marriage counselor, and tweens before they have a glow up, but because there are different life cycles happening at all times, repeat attacks are crucial.

As often as your leaves need a pick me up! I try and wipe mine down for just a general maintenance every 4-5 months.

When I'm doing a quick wipe down (not a heavier treatment for pests) I get a medium soak on my microfiber towels with the Neem concoction and wipe down both sides of the leaves at the same time.

Neem (like the baby oil of our youthful tanning days) makes a plant photosensitive and increases it's potential for sun damage.

To avoid this apply Neem with the plant wont be receiving direct light for 6+ hours.

Yes, if you are doing a combo of Neem and beneficial insects, do your course(s) of Neem first, then release the good soldiers.
