I’ve been using the plant fertilizer for a few years and love it but the gnat death drops were a game changer. All last year I had no gnat problems but ran out of the death drops and shortly after gnats took over. I quickly bought more product and they have already reduced drastically. I’ve also recently invested in the soil refresh in hopes that I can take my jungle to the next level, especially my fiddle leaf babies. The product packaging is also adorable and the glass droppers are great for quickly measuring the liquids.
This stuff is no joke! After years of messing with smelly neem oil, weird mosquito bits, and sticky traps, along come these Death Drops and...voila! I've been using the Fungus Gnat Death Drops for about a month and a half and it isn't working as fast as I want it to! I still have gnats. The biggest issue I have is that my plants don't need water every day so they only get treated when watered and in between waterings the gnats propagate. To be fair, though, I have added 10 plants to my collection after getting the drops so I will keep on using the product. The picture is a grandbaby from my spider plant that started my plant obsession. I have 3 generations of spider plants in my sunroom. There are fewer gnats on the happy faces so I will continue using the product in hopes that the gnats will be irradicated eventually.
I’m back into houseplants after over a decade of raising human children. I started accumulating plants - and also gnats! This. Could. Not. Be! I’d tried a couple other things, but they ended up either hurting my plants or not helping - plus! They were a pain to implement. These drops are so easy AND effective!! I, even more recently, started accumulating carnivorous plants and I fear they may starve!

I have been using the plant food starter kit for over a year now. My plants are beautiful! I have recommended this product to a friend recently and she is excited to see her plants come alive! Right now I'm separating and planting many of my plants that have had babies. Mostly giving them away to new homes. This pic is all of the transplants. I also take many plant from my MIL, who is learning indoor plants and needs help sometimes. I take them home and bring them back to life. Somewhere I picked up a bad case of fungus gnats. The death drops have worked fantastic. I used them religiously for the first several weeks, treating all plants, making sure to fully soak the entire top layer of soil. No more gnats. Now I treat occasionally as a preventive measure. It's a great product!!
I was having a constant swat the gnat! So I tried your death drops, instantly I saw a Huge improvement and now on the fourth time using them in my watering ... I had fungus gnats from using NZ Tree Fern as my substrate for my Anthuriums, begonias and some hoya. Normally I use Pon but certain plants don't like it. I used your product on my plants for two weeks in a row and they were gone. I was so happy as I hate the yellow sticky-type since they can get stuck to my leaves. I will get more in the future as I repot (season is here).
I started having issues with gnats after switching a smaller pot to a larger one and using non-sterile dirt. I have tried everything from dish soap and vinegar to peppermint spray and yellow sticky pads to gnat trap plug-ins. During my last research, I came across a Happy Plants video and ordered it. I started using it right away. They have the big yellow sticky traps and the instructions on how to get started, and reluctant but tried it anyway. The gnats were so bad that you couldn't look at your phone because gnats are drawn to light. Well, guess what? I typed this message with no gnats' interruptions. Thank you, Happy Plant! I love house plants, and I’ve had a large collection for many many years. I’ve tried so many different plant foods over the years, and I took the plunge and ordered all of the HHHP products and I cannot be more thrilled at the results! I use all the drops when I water and I have new growth on virtually everything. There were a few I thought that were on the brink of death and this whole system has brought them back and I have new growth on all of them. And every year when I do my soil refresh & repotting week in January, inevitably fungus gnats become a problem and within a month, I’ve been able to get the problem under control. I am absolutely in love with the ease of using these products. Part of my problem over the years is how cumbersome measuring out different products can be and problems with granular products not dissolving fully. With this I have a 1 gallon watering can and having the dropper bottles has just made it so quick, simple and easy. It’s a no-brainer. I have also never had my plant cuttings root so quickly as I have since I started using these products. And I am absolutely in love with the polishing glove. That thing is a miracle. I used to hate dusting my plants and now I love keeping them looking amazing. I have had friends come over and even comment on how everything looks so lush. I know buying the whole system can feel a little pricey, but they truly work and it’s convenient enough that I use it consistently. My house plants are my “indoor landscaping” and a large factor to how my home feels and this was an investment well spent.
Who doesn’t love a good rescue story? I saved one pothos off the curb (full of nasties after being an outdoor plant) and the other pothos from a cockroach-infested pot at a campsite. A little root boost, plant food, and the protection of the gnat drops and everybody is so happy and healthy! It’s very humid where I live and very gnat friendly. After years of struggling with gnats, I love having gnat-free plants!
I would be sitting on the couch ready to Netflix and chill when suddenly a gnat would fly up my nose and ruin my night. I would be swatting at these pesky buggers that appeared out of nowhere! This is my monstera which only had one large fenestrated leaf and several small suckers after about a month on your product. All my big plants and props are thriving (i add a small drop or two to my water props as soon as they start to root up) and your soil refresh and hydration boost are amazing for tropicals like my zebra or my begonia who like to stay moist. Adore this whole system, all my plants look incredible.

Unbeknownst to me, I used bad soil on a newly rooted plant. Before I knew it and almost overnight, infestation of gnats had appeared. They were having a party and I almost cried. I didn’t want it to spread to so I threw out the new plant, which helped get rid of most of the buggers. Yellow sticky traps and insecticidal soap helped some but still they persisted. In a mad google search, I found gnat death drops online and with two doses, I’m gnat free! Best stuff ever! No gnats anywhere and disaster averted! I’ve had some of my plants for over 40 years and would have been devastated if the gnats spread. Love the packaging and easy-to-use application. I’m a new customer for life!
