It depends on how large your plant collection is! One bottle will make 207 gallons of Plant Food! On average, one bottle will last someone with 20 houseplants 9-12 months.
Yes! Plant Food is a general use fertilizer that will work for all types of houseplants! Stay aware of succulents and cacti that are meant to be squatty (like echeveria) it can boost their growth and make them leggy!
It can be used year round! Even during winter, many houseplants still growâjust at a slower pace. As long as your plant is showing signs of growth, keep feeding with your regular dosage. If growth slows down, no biggie, just reduce frequency to every third watering.
Itâs gentle enough for consistent use, so your plants get a steady stream of nutrients instead of a feast-and-famine cycle. PLUS It makes it easy for you! Zero tracking or trying to remember the last time you fed your plants was.
Use a measureable container (like kitchen measuring cups or a water bottle) to fill up your watering can. Count how many ounces of water your watering can holds. Follow the measurements below to calculate how much Plant Food you'll need!
Yes-ish. Cactus and Succulents are much slower growing than tropical varieties of houseplants. The formula in Plant Food has a higher amount of Nitrogen and Phosphorus which can force slow growing plants to get leggy. That being said, succulents and cacti still need food, so we recommend diluting it to .25 ml/gallon.
Every plant is different, and growth depends on a variety of conditions. Some people see results in a week, but we love the 6 week mark! That is when most of our reviews are submitted (check them out for yourself below!) Watch for new growth, greener leaves, and a happier plant!

Hi, I purchased the hydration renew and the plant food in last couple months. I seriously doubt everything that I see on the Internet because usually itâs not usually accurate. Anyway, I watched some videos and decided to take a risk and try the hydration renew first and I ended up coming back for the plant food after I started seeing her results. I have had a Haworthia plant that I repotted and it multiplied, but the soil was hydrophobic, as well as some other house plants that I had and they were not looking too great. After using hydration, renew, the soil started retaining moisture, which I was shocked about. The Haworthia was dried out and changed to a reddish color so I knew it was dying. After I started using hydration renewal and the plant food, the color came back to green and in the last week it shot up a flower shoot which is rare for that plant, but the other day I saw that it has a second flower shoot coming out of it, which it has never done. When I look up two flower shoots in this type of plant, it says that itâs super happy and is in the perfect condition. All of my plants are looking great and Iâm hoping to see some other flowers soon on some house plants. The new growth is insane!
I love the fertilizer, itâs so easy and all my plants look great. We had a terrible ice storm. We left to stay at our daughterâs house, since they had power. We couldnât return home for 14 days, the temp inside the house was 42 degrees, when we got home. I had worried everyday about my plants, I knew I would lose them. But to our surprise, I had only lost a few plants. Our house has a lot of windows that gets really good light, and they are very healthy because of the happy happy houseplant fertilizer, I really feel like thatâs what helped them to survive. You have turned me from a plastic plant parent into a proud and eager live plant momma! I was inspired by your Insta account and all the beautiful indoor plants you grow, as well as the easy to follow tips, and the simplicity of your system. I use ALL your liquid products - the Fungus Gnat Death Drops destroyed the frustrating gnat issues, especially with my orchids, the Soil Refresh and Hydration Renew saved me from repotting a ficus Audrey tree, the Neem Oil keeps everyone sparkling, but most of all the Plant Food is the key to my success! I use it on all my plants, including my orchids, and everyone is thriving! My Aglaonema Jasper Jones, pictured from one year ago and now, is totally transformed. It is huge, constantly sprouting new growth, but most incredibly, it blooms constantly!!! There are Reddit forums about this well-loved plant with show-stopping foliage, and people who have had plants for 10 years "heard it blooms" but have never seen it. Mine won't stop blooming the loveliest little pink and white flame-shaped flowers. I also began propogating my schefflera and pothos, and the small starter plants just take off with your system. I have even given a plant I grew myself from a cutting as a gift, which was so satisfying! This system has given me the courage to try new plants such as Angel Wing begonia and Polka Dot begonia maculata. They have doubled in size and I hope to get them to bloom sometime. I had been battling spider mites on my ficus tree for a couple of years. No matter what I tried, it was next to impossible to clean every tiny little branch and they just kept coming back. SO, I did a thingâŚI pulled every single leaf off of the tree, cleaned every nook, cranny and branch and switched to all of the Happy, Happy Houseplants products. It took some time but it is absolutely thriving now! I am so âHappyâ with these products and now I use them on all of my plants! Oh, and the taffy is delicious!
I love that this plant food is so easy to use. Since I can use it every time I water, it's become part of my routine, so I don't forget to do it. And my plants are also loving it! My pilea peperomioides plants are getting more leaves than ever. I even watered a succulent that looked 100% dead to see if it could come back to life, and after two waterings, it has some tiny green sprouts! I've started watering a few of my outdoor plants with it too (asparagus fern, string of bananas, and white bird of paradise) and they're all looking great. I will definitely buy this again.

All of them putting 1-5 leaves out per month easily. Iâm about to have to buy a whole shelving unit for all of my plants to make room! Iâm almost at 40 totalđ¤Ťđ. Iâve been using happy happy houseplant plant food for years and I love it! My plants are all thriving. I get new growth year round and everything stays nice and vibrant. I started adding a couple drops to a semi-hydroponic plant and it immediately started pushing out new leafs. The cute dropper bottles are also adorable so I donât mind leaving them out for easy access. I occasionally buy the plant food for new plant parents as gifts and they all love it too!
